MC LAZY releases What are you getting for Christmas together with International Music Production & Entertainment company Dark Stars

Poet/Rapper Tariq Khan, also known as MC LAZY, brings you conscious Hip Hop with spiritual meaning and the message of brotherhood from Dutch grounds. After successfully releasing his latest single For The Rights on CD and through Itunes, Khan has amassed over 100 performances to date, and has taken his music far and wide, with live shows in places as diverse as Senegal, Thailand and Cambodia.

The past year MC LAZY has been working on new tracks with several international artists while teaming up with Dark Stars, an international Music Production & Entertainment company with offices in the US and The Netherlands. Together they decided, in these times of change, we should stop feeding our kids with lies. Instead they planned to release a song and music video on Christmas Eve which tells the truth about Christmas and which speaks about the situation of children in third world countries.

The result is What are you getting for Christmas, which presents a single with MC LAZY spitting rhymes and features a mind expanding music video by Dark Stars. This new single is taken from MC LAZY’s new mixtape “Music Is My Hustle” which is expected early 2012 and will feature international artists like Young Noble (The Outlawz) as well as artists from The Netherlands like D.Lipps.

What are you getting for Christmas tells the story of how todays society has lost the true meaning of the gospel and brotherhood through the commercialization of Christmas. And invites the listener/viewer to join MC LAZY on his journey to finding the real spirit of Christmas.
